YOU WILL KNOW A PERSON BY THEIR FRUITS, THEIR ACTIONS. Ms. Maria Ressa is one of the people that can rebuild the human race - real sense of community and compassion. I'd rather believe someone who speaks of the value of truth and peace and has even been imprisoned for it than someone who wields so much power and has never been ruffled by law, ahem, Duterte and tech heads

Review of grants disbursed by the Ford Foundation’s team overseeing the Middle East and North Africa, led by Cairo-based regional director Saba Almubaslat, shows that several of the foundation’s grants have gone to organizations whose employees, events, and projects celebrated Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack and decried the “Zionist entity.”

Maria Ressa is a true advocate of democracy. Her criminal conviction is clearly politically motivated in the Philippines. Whereas Donald Trump is a fake advocate of democracy. His 34 felony counts of criminal conviction is clearly not political but is his habitual criminal conducts. Donald Trump is no comparison to Marisa Ressa who speaks truths to the power. Donald Trump speaks untruths to advance his own personal interests. He is one of the Hugh Conman convicted felon.

Living life from the perspective of where you are can be challenging especially if where you are is problematic. Making lop sided outcomes out of lop sided advantages becomes even more challenging when you consider the momentum is weighted toward the status quo. What I mean by lopsided is changing the ratio of success to failure to define success as the significant number. It is possible. But that possibility is rooted in a fundamental pragmatic change and the way we operate from the perspective of the paradigm that underlines our motivational approach to change.
